CAAC Annual Report Compilation Begins
The China Advertising Association of Commerce has officially begun the compilation of its 2026 annual report on China’s digital marketing industry. As an annual industry research initiative, the report will provide a systematic review of the market’s development, covering industry evolution, technology, ecosystem development, brand practices and emerging trends.
This year’s report brings together contributions from 14 research institutions and 2 universities, reflecting a broad range of professional perspectives across digital marketing, media research, data, technology, brand practice and industry consulting.
R3 to Contribute Service Provider Perspectives
R3 has been invited to contribute to the report, providing observations on China’s digital marketing service provider ecosystem and the evolving role of service providers in the market.
As China’s digital marketing industry enters a more specialized stage of development, marketers’ expectations of service providers continue to evolve. Service providers are increasingly expected to move beyond execution and support more integrated capabilities across content, media, technology, data and business outcomes.
Drawing on its experience in agency ecosystem assessment, marketing governance and partnership model optimization, R3 will contribute perspectives on how service provider roles, capability structures and collaboration models are evolving in China.
Documenting China’s Digital Marketing Evolution
The 2026 report is expected to complete its major drafting and revision stages in the second half of 2026, with a summary edition scheduled for release in November. The report will then proceed through publication review, data updates, layout and final editing before its full release.
R3 is pleased to contribute to this industry initiative and to work alongside CAAC, participating research institutions and academic experts to document the key changes shaping China’s digital marketing industry.
